Posted by Unknown Wednesday, 24 April 2013

Owing to the benefits that extra virgin olive oil provides, its consumers are increasing by leaps and bounds. Some of the health benefits that it offers are improving digestion, lowering of cholesterol and curing of gastrointestinal ailments. It is the most appropriate substitute for vegetable and other types of local oil. While consuming food made out of fresh olive oil chances are high that you will spill some in your table cloth or your own shirt.

Do you think cleaning these sticky stains is easy? If you opine “yes”, then perhaps you don’t do clean cloths at your home. It is very easy to dip cloths in a bucket full of water along with some detergent. Only those who regularly clean cloths know that washing clothes is an art and not a mere walk in the park. One thing that many don’t know is how to clean the stains so that the cloth remains in the pristine state.

  1.  First and foremost, sprinkle baking soda on the extra virgin olive oil stain. Leave the cloth in that situation for the next five minutes. Thereafter, remove the baking soda with the help of a brush.
  2. Cover the stained area with detergent. Make sure the entire stained area gets covered with the detergent. Now, you need to make use of your hands and rub the garment together.
  3. Take a bucket full of warm water. Add a small amount of dish detergent in the bucket. Put the stained garment inside the bucket. After that, let it soak overnight.
  4.  Take the garment out and dry it properly.

This is one out of the many ways in which you can remove stains from your cloths, painlessly.
